Dear guests,
The world is still suffering from the corona pandemic. Australia just announced that also for 2021 foreign tourists will most likely not be allowed to entry the country. Due to this situation we, the Inter-Connect GmbH, have decided to suspend all booking options for this destination until the end of December 2021. We appologize for the inconvenience. However, already existing bookings will remain valid. Should there be any changes regarding the political course of the Australian government, we will be happy to re-open the destination for sale.
Thank you for your understanding and stay well!

Dear guests,
Due to multiple Italian government-imposed lock downs to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and the temporary shutdown of the Fincantieri shipyard in 2020, Discovery Princess is expected to enter service in spring 2022.
As a result of this delay from the shipyard, please note the following deployment changes. This will include ship changes and voyage cancellations.
Due to this delay by the shipyard, the following deployment changes will occur and include ship changes and voyage cancellations:
- Regal Princess replaces Discovery Princess in the Caribbean:
Guests booked on departures from/to Fort Lauderdale to the Caribbean will be rebooked on Regal Princess with the same departure dates and itinerary.
For affected sailings, the booking (and associated additional services such as shore excursions, etc.) will be automatically transferred from Discovery Princess to Regal Princess.
- Cancelled Discovery Princess sailings:
As a result of these changes, Discovery Princess sailings between 03 Nov 2021 and 01 May 2022 have been cancelled.
All affected guests or their travel agencies have already been contacted individually with all information and details regarding cancellation and rebooking.
We ask for your kind understanding that in these exceptional circumstances it will take us longer than normal to respond to your inquiries.

Dear guests,
Princess Cruises yesterday evening announced the sale of Pacific Princess.
The sale of the cruise ship is in line with parent company Carnival Corporation’s plan to accelerate the removal of less efficient ships from its fleet.
Pacific Princess first joined the cruise line’s fleet in 2002, and originally entered service in 1999 as R3 for Renaissance Cruises.
The boutique-style ship offered an intimate cruising environment, with a total of just 670 passengers, but incorporated many of the dining and entertainment options available on the cruise line’s larger vessels.
Beloved by many loyal Princess guests, Pacific Princess sailed more than 1.6 million nautical miles, 11 world cruises and offered distinctive itineraries to sought-after destinations all over the world.
All affected guests or their travel agencies will be contacted individually with all information and details regarding cancellation and rebooking.
We ask for your kind understanding that in these exceptional circumstances it will take us longer than normal to respond to your inquiries.

Dear guests,
Today Princess Cruises has announced the sale of two of its ships, Sun Princess and Sea Princess.
The sale of these vessels is in line with parent company Carnival Corporation’s plan to accelerate the removal of less efficient ships from its fleet.
Princess Cruises president Jan Swartz:
“Sun Princess and Sea Princess contributed to significant growth in Australian cruising.
Both ships defined the premium cruise experience with Australians and New Zealanders spending close to 14 million nights aboard these ships.
While it is never easy to say goodbye to any ship in our fleet, this will allow us to deploy newer ships enhancing our offerings for Australia cruisers and focus on bringing into service exciting newbuilds like the upcoming delivery of Enchanted Princess.”
Due to the imminent departure of these two ships from the fleet, Princess Cruises will cancel published itineraries which include:
• Sun Princess: all sailings from 28.12.2020 through 14.08.2021
• Sea Princess: all sailings from 23.12.2020 through 09.11.2021

Notice on the temporary pause of global operations of Princess Cruises
Dear Guests,
In proactive response to the unpredictable circumstances evolving from the global spread of COVID-19, Princess Cruises announced that it will voluntarily pause global operations of its 18 cruise ships for two months (60 days), covering voyages departing March 12 to May 10.
Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises, said: "Princess Cruises is a global holiday company that serves more than 50,000 guests daily from 70 countries as part of our diverse business, and it is widely known that we have been managing the implications of COVID-19 on two continents. By taking this bold action of voluntarily pausing the operations of our ships, it is our intention to reassure our loyal guests, team members and global stakeholders of our commitment to the health, safety and well-being of all who sail with us, as well as those who do business with us, and the countries and communities we visit around the world."
Those currently onboard a cruise that will end in the next five days will continue to sail as expected through to the end of the itinerary so that onward travel arrangements are not disrupted. Current voyages that are under way and extend beyond March 17 will be ended at the most convenient location for guests, factoring in operational requirements. Princess will do everything possible to return each guest home with the greatest amount of care possible. During this time, our operations and medical teams across the fleet will remain vigilant in their care and service for guests and crew onboard.
In a video posted on YouTube, Jan Swartz shares that “while this is a difficult business decision, we firmly believe it is the right one and is in alignment with our company’s core values. Rest assured the long-serving and dedicated professionals at our company will make best use of this time to prepare Princess Cruises’ fleet of cruise ships for a successful return to operation to serve our guests by delivering an exceptional holiday experience.”
Princess Cruises plans to be back in operation beginning with cruises departing May 11, 2020.
We will contact all guests booked on affected voyages.
Thank you for your loyalty and support!
