Two nights Mount McKinley and Denali via Fairbanks

Experience the unspoiled nature of Denali National Park and the charme of Alaska’s “Gold Heart City” Fairbanks. Accompanied by an experienced tour guide, you’ll spend two nights in our Denali and Mount McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodges and explore the Alaskan flora and fauna on a guided tour and optional excursions into the park. In Fairbanks you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself into history on a Gold Mine Tour and a nostalgic riverboat cruise. The meals are included as indicated in the itinerary.

Day 1 Fairbanks
Arrive in Fairbanks and check into the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge for a two-night stay. Meet your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions.

Day 2 Fairbanks
This morning, take a Gold Mine Tour with the chance to pan for your own gold. Enjoy a miner’s lunch before taking a cruise on an authentic Sternwheeler Riverboat down the Chena River. The evening is free to explore on your own. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 3 Fairbanks / Denali
Take a scenic motorcoach journey to one of Alaska’s most beautiful nature reserves. Your first destination will be Denali National Park where you’ll spend two nights in our Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. The afternoon is at leisure. In the evening, we’ll treat you to the “Music of Denali” dinner show. (breakfast and dinner included)

Day 4 Denali
The day begins with an informative Tundra Wilderness Tour deep into Denali National Park. The rest of the day is free to spend as you please. Take part in optional excursions or just relax at the lodge. Dinner tonight at King Salmon Restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 5 Denali / Mount McKinley
This morning you'll travel by motorcoach to the south side of the park for two nights at the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. Take in the sensational views with a glass of wine in the Great Room or on the expansive deck. Dinner at North Fork Restaurant. (breakfast and dinner included)

Day 6 Mount McKinley
The entire day is free to spend as you please. Choose from an array of optional excursions or relax at the lodge and enjoy the breathtaking view of North America’s highest mountain. Dinner at North Fork Restaurant. (breakfast and dinner included)

Day 7 Mount McKinley / Whittier
Transfer to Talkeetna where you’ll board the Mount McKinley Express to Whittier and your awaiting ship. (breakfast and lunch included)
